“Do your best” means, “do your best today.” Whatever the weather, season, circumstance, or mood, do the best work you can do right now, in this moment. Then, share it, and repeat the process tomorrow. This is actually a more productive process for making your best even better.
“Do your best” doesn’t mean, “do your best ever”. If we always wait to share our work until it’s the best we’ve ever done, then we will rarely share anything at all. Waiting for the “best ever” is a fantasy, and an easy excuse to hide. “Do your best” means, “do your best today.” Whatever the weather, season, circumstance, or mood, do the best work you can do right now, in this moment.
