No disrespect to the leaders and innovators in our world, but I don't think any of them are fearless. I don't think anyone is fearless. A lack of fear is not what separates these super-humans from you and I. Be it the middle school janitor, or the President of the free world, we all experience fear. What separates those who make change from those who don't is their reaction to the fear they experience.
Most of us allow fear to be a muzzle. The fear of criticism, failure, and the pain that comes with them stifles our message and renders us silent. Inactive.
The ones who make a difference, the ones who are vitally creative, do not allow fear to become a muzzle. Instead, they use fear as a motivator. For them, the question isn't fight or flight. They know that staying and fighting is the only way they will ever get their message, their voice, or their art to soar.
Fear can either cripple you, or it can spur you into action. The outcomes of both have been made clear. The choice is yours though.
