Everyone has their idea of how the actor is "supposed" to act, how the writer is "supposed" to write, how the singer is "supposed" to sound, and how the story is "supposed" to go.
Doing everything you're supposed to do might get you good grades, but it doesn't necessarily make you a good student, and it certainly doesn't make you a great artist.
