-Walk in a single file line
-Raise your hand and wait to be picked when you have something to say
-The Pythagorean Theorem
-How to make a paper football
-The easiest way to sneak out of Travis and TJ’s dad’s house
-What section of the bleachers it was okay to sit in if you were a sophomore
-All the lyrics to Sir Mix A Lot’s Baby Got Back
-Put in enough effort to avoid getting scolded by your teachers/parents
-Put in as little effort as possible to avoid getting scolded by your friends and peers
What I did not learn in school:
-How to make a budget
-How to find proper medical care
-That you won’t always be able to eat whatever you want without gaining any weight
-That teachers are people too
-How to be an actor/writer/speaker/YouTuber
-That it’s a lot harder to make, and keep friends in the real world
-That a college degree does not guarantee me a job
-That the real world doesn’t give me a schedule. And no one is checking in to make sure I am developing as a person.
-That there is life (a lot of it) after high school, so stop caring about the stupid stuff, and start caring about the stuff that actually matters.
